Our Philosophy
Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic School is a Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade accredited, archdiocesan Roman Catholic School located in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are supported by Mary, Queen of Peace parish and provide a faith-based environment that emphasizes strong academic skills and values essential for life-long success.
Our school is an inclusive community of faith, warmth, and friendliness, guided by the core values of respect, responsibility and compassion which govern the conduct of members of our community. We are a living mission of the Parish of Mary, Queen of Peace. We value strong academic achievement and work to instill the five attitudes for lifelong success.

Academic Formation
- Students will encounter a rich curriculum that will quench their thirst for knowlege.
- The curriculum includes Religion, Math, Reading, English, Science, Social Studies, Spelling, Art, Physical Education, Computer, Music, and Spanish for all grades. Students also participate in Band, Newspaper, Art Masterpiece, and School Patrol.
- Our school now offers all day, everyday kindergarten and a Spanish curriculum for all students.
- Our small class sizes allow our faculty and staff to personalize the education our students receive.
- National standardized test scores (MAT8) reveal that our students consistently perform above grade level in the areas tested.
Spiritual Formation
- The teachings of Jesus Christ fill every aspect of our students daily experience.
- Students attend weekly mass as a school. They also participate in student led prayer services each Friday afternoon. These services include Vespers, Rosary Services, and Stations of the Cross.
- Christ is the reason for our school, the unseen but ever present teacher in our classrooms, the model of our faculty and the inspiration of our students.
